working away

just getting little easy things done today in photoshop to get them checked off the forever long list of this projects contents.

and after two class periods of making layouts i didnt like, i finally created one that does not look tacky! its simple and i took me about 15 minutes to make, but im happy with it.

Today I'm trying to get a rough layout for the floorplan. After seeing the building, the ideas that were in my head are not going to work. So kelly vs. floorplan round #2 starts today!

time to get rolling

Im starting to get general layout today and get a concept board together. Hopefully when i get to the site on Monday, a few more things will come to me. Once I started playing around with a layout I realized how much we have to put into this place! But Im getting really excited about it! Its going to be a lot of work, but our senior show is going to rock!

whats in a name

Why are all the good names taken? Hollywood, Broadway, ect.
Bowling Green takes pride in the arts and entertainment that are here, plus the location is the building I am designing will be near the Capital Arts Center. But one thing they are lacking is a restaurant that brings together food and entertainment, which is why I would like to design one! I place that brings in sassy old Hollywood glam and entertainment styles, but with a fun and modern twist on it. I place to bring together the great older architecture with the modern hotel extension. A place to bring together the baby boomers with the 90's kids. Something rich and fun, a place for a great night out, or a getaway weekend!
But what to call it?! Glam...to girly, Spotlight...to cheesy, Sass...to short! oh what shall I call you?
